  9. My department of Nephrology apart from routine patient care is responsible for:
    • Management of Live Donor Kidney Transplantation. We have performed in excess of 2000 Live Donor Kidney Transplantations till date from 1980.
    • Maintenance Hemodialysis Programme; we have 15 dialysis stations operated 4 shifts daily. At present 32 patients are on maintenance haemodialysis for more than five years.
    • Only department having facilities for interventional nephrology including renal angiography and angioplasty.
